Some, quite frankly astonishing, hand-coloring of leather by Imai Hiroki.

In August of 1999, I made a spur-of-the-moment trip to Provincetown, Massachusetts. A room had become available in an apartment a friend was renting for two weeks. I had never been to Provincetown, so I eagerly snapped up the opportunity. As usual, I packed a camera and a few lens. I also took all the expired film that was languishing in my refrigerator. I didn’t know what to expect or what or if I would photograph. but it seemed like a good opportunity to burn through the film.
